At Ciro Coffee Academy, education is at the heart of everything we do. We have always taken pride in being leaders and pioneers in the South African coffee industry, particularly regarding coffee training and skills upliftment, and we have enjoyed sharing our knowledge and experience with thousands of coffee enthusiasts and professionals to date.
As part of our passion for education, we offer a course to help you get the best possible experience with your De’Longhi coffee equipment. Not only will you learn how to make good quality coffee in your home or office; you will also expand your general coffee knowledge and improve your skills on espresso based drink preparation.
The Course will include the following topics:
1: History of Coffee
Discover the history of coffee as we take you on the journey from its first discovery in the 11th century to the establishment of the first coffee houses and more.
2: What is Coffee?
Learn more about the world’s most valuable and widely-traded commodity, from the crop to the cup and everything in-between.
3: Le Nez Du Café
Train your senses of taste and smell. The Le Nez Du Café allows you not only to perfect your sense of smell, but also to understand the process of creating the coffee that produces its signature aromas.
4: Coffee Cupping
Experience the tastes and aromas of single origin coffee by examining them side-by-side and detecting the unique differences between the coffee sources.
Additional Course Details:
Duration: 4 hours (8:00 – 12:00).
Free to any one who has purchased a De’Longhi Coffee Machine on Ciro Coffee Boutique in the week of 29 January – 4 February 2018. This course is valued at R500 per person. (Valid for 1 person only)
