The Speciality Coffee Association (SCA) hosts the most advanced and respected coffee training qualifications in the world and sets the industry benchmarks for education in the coffee industry.
The courses on offer form part of the Coffee Diploma System of the SCA.

What are the SCA Training Courses?
The Speciality Coffee Association (SCA) is an organisation that sits at the very heart of the international coffee community, where thousands of coffee professionals and enthusiasts focus on inspiring coffee excellence through innovation, education, research and communication.
SCA offers some of the most advanced and respected coffee training qualifications in the world and their main purpose is to improve coffee standards through furthering knowledge and education through their Coffee Diploma System. Through the various modules, you are allowed to choose the coffee education path that most suits your needs and interests.
As we are passionate about coffee enthusiasts, Ciro Coffee Boutique, through the Ciro Coffee Academy now offers these modules from SCA for you to purchase and receive the training through the Ciro Coffee Academy, at various training centres throughout South Africa. These modules are introductory and allow you to start your coffee education path with ease. These foundation courses are just the begining of your coffee education journey, while you are attending these courses, you will be introduced to the balance of the SCA coffee courses available after completion of these initial courses.
The Authorised SCA Trainers (ASTs) will be conducting the training at Ciro Coffee Academy, which include the following modules:
4 – Roasting - available only in Gauteng
The modules cover the coffee journey from bean to cup and provide the first taste of a particular coffee discipline. A great way to get initial insight into the basic skills of a coffee professional!
The Foundation level modules require no previous experience so are open to all coffee enthusiasts!

SCA training modules will be conducted at Ciro Coffee Academy Training Centres in South Africa only. All participants will have to ensure they have their own transportation to and from the venues.
Each module will include lunch.
